Day Of The Dogs

Today was the first Dogsday at the Tierpark-Berlin. The Tierpark is one of the few zoos, where dogs are allowed. At the dogsday was presented all around dogs, hairdresser, wellness, first aid, agility and many more.
Lots of people brought their dogs with them.

Cheers, the german-russian-days in Berlin had started today. 3 Days of music, dance, food, fun, literature and more.

Dong Xuan

Berlin has no Chinatown but it has got a little Hanoi, it´s called "Dong Xuan". Dong Xuan is vietnamese and means "meadow of flowers". This is the name of an very old tratitional market in Hanoi  (Vietnam). You can buy everything at Dong Xuan, but no  fresh flowers.

In Berlin lives about 120,000 vietnamese people, they work as trader, restaurateur or anything else. The Dong Xuan-Center is a big meetingplace, there are not only aisan shops, there are also asian hairdresser, restaurants, a language school, sportcenter and even a kindergarten.

Everyone can go into the Dong Xuan-Center, it´s open for people of all nations. You can also see indians, russians and even costumers from Poland and the Netherlands. Usually the germans go to Poland to buy things cheeper, but they would never think, that the polens bought the chinese stuff in Germany.

....what a nice name for a garden grill evening. Yes sure, if 12 hobby politiians come together, there will be spoken about any municipal problems, but the barbeque and the champagne was allways in the foreground.
I could hear other views about problems first hand, what the newspaper wrote in another way. Not bad, what I heared about a social union, the boss as taken a lot of money for him self. The social food table where terminated by the landlord called Howoge. The best they could do.

We met in a small garden, only 15 minutes by bike away from my home. For Berlin that´s a short distance. A the begin the sun shine was nice warm and made wonderfull light.
