The New Train Hall

Today the new build hall for the trains at Ostkreuz  were opend. Ostkreuz is the most important station for the S-Bahn citytrains in Berlin. Each day about 100,000 passengers changes the trains. The complet building of the station needs 10 Years and costs untill 2016    411 Mio €. Only the hall costs 12 Mio €. It is 132 m long and 15 m high, made of glass an steel.
Today the half work is done, time to make al little party in the new hall. The important men cutted a cake in the form of the new hall.
The new hall is just opend and it has a name already "Butter dish" because it looks like that
